Initial Consult
During this initial Acupuncture session, Dr. Kristensen will discuss with new patients their long term and recent health history in order to gain insight and to evaluate the patient's current health issues, and to formulate a plan of treatment accordingly.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
Get a full comprehensive Chinese Medicine Diagnosis by an experienced professional. During your initial appointment, Dr. Kristensen will review your detailed health history, and perform an examination to learn about your unique state of health. Based on that assessment, she is able to prescribe and recommend the herbal remedies that would best support your individual needs.

Follow up sessions will assess the efficacy of the herbs prescribed by Dr. Kristensen, and determine subsequent herbal treatments for the patient.
Fire Cupping
Cupping is a non-invasive massage technique that uses suction to promote improved circulation throughout the body, which can in turn assist with relieving tension and treating pain.
Additionally, this modality helps relax muscle adhesions while also stimulating beneficial functions of the immune system; aiding in recovery from respiratory ailments such as colds or infections.

EXERCISE WITH OXYGEN THERAPY (EWOT)
Exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT) is breathing higher levels (90% or above) of oxygen enriched air while exercising, which provides dramatic health benefits by increasing the oxygen carrying capability of red blood cells and blood plasma. Cells make up our body, including organs and tissues, and all cells in our body need oxygen to function correctly. As we age and undergo stress oxygen is unable to reach the small capillaries surrounding organs and tissues because of improper oxygenation of red blood cells causing swelling and edema in these capillaries. Exercise with Oxygen Therapy saturates red blood cells and blood plasma with oxygen so that oxygen can reach small capillaries surrounding organs and tissues. This decreases swelling and edema and re-establishes normal oxygen and nutrient supply to organs and tissues.
